We are Toxyn Games.

A courageous new company focussing on making video games, based on a multitude of ideas and themes. We are here to put South Africa on the map in terms of Game Design and Development. We take your ideas and make them into professionally developed products.

About us.

Ignited and inspired by children’s toys of the 1980s and 1990s that focussed on toxicity and mutation to make environmental and political commentary, Toxyn Games was born in a radioactive explosion, seeking to make organic differences in both the video game industry and broader society.£

Toxyn Games thinks differently.

We are a highly flexible company that moulds to suit our clients needs. Gone are the days where Game Designers and Developers made games purely for self-interest. We not only assume a playercentric approach to storytelling and game making, but also a client-centric approach to designing and development.

We Aren’t Scared of the Dark.

Toxyn Games courageously takes on themes that are both vibrant, thought provoking and that have mature themes. In other words, we aren’t scared to help you tell the stories and create the games that dance in the shadows and have elements of horror in them. Want to create more complex stories and games that are aimed at older audiences? No problem. In fact, we welcome the challenge.

We Love Our Employees.

At Toxyn Games, we believe that a happy employee is a healthy and productive employee. We have a specific mission to change toxic work culture, by putting a “Y” in it.

Employees are part of our priority.

Toxyn Games operates as a bridge for graduates and other qualified persons to hone their skills. We offer mentorship and work experience, to help develop our local industry, as well as our economy.

Thus, we build game makers, as well as games.

mentored.

We’ve made it a priority to mentor and guide as many individuals as possible through their professional journeys. So far, we’ve had the privilege of mentoring 10 people, and we’re proud to say that this number continues to grow every month.

Our mentors come from all walks of life, with a wealth of experience and expertise in a wide range of disciplines. They are dedicated, passionate, and driven individuals who are eager to share their knowledge and help others succeed.

fUNDING.
